Staff may be experiencing difficulties, frustrations, or have questions we don’t know about. When ending a one on one meeting, ask if you can help the person do her or his job better. In a group of staff members, ask the same question. Often, the person will not have a request, but each will appreciate being asked and shown concern. Other times, a key request will be made, where you will have an impact. Keep asking for continued success.
